When we three met, we realized we had something in common.
We all grew up the streets of kathmandu hopping from one Momo Pasa to another—what we call a momo shop in Newari.
Some days, it was right after school. Some days, with friends after a long day. And sometimes, late at night when the craving just wouldn’t go away.
We still remember the sight of those giant steamers filled with fresh momo, the aroma drifting through the streets, and the achaar jars sitting on every table, waiting to be shared.
But momo was never just food. It was where conversations began. Where friendships grew. Where laughter echoed. Where memories were made.
Recreating a Feeling We Missed
When we moved here, we found ourselves missing more than just the taste. We missed the feeling.
The warmth. The local gathering place. The experience of walking into a momo shop and instantly feeling at home. So we decided to build one ourselves. A place where momo is handmade fresh every day. A place where the aroma brings back memories. A place where friends gather, families connect, and everyone feels welcome.
That’s how Momo Pasa was born. Not from a business plan. But from a desire to recreate something we loved growing up.
